Can anybody help..

I have just bought a Thomson Tivo box and am having problems switching it on. I have tried both scart and RF but get noting on the screen.

The green receive light comes on for about 2 minutes and then goes off (nothing on the screen).

Any ideas!!!!!

Sounds like it may have a problem....

Via scart
When 1st powered up, tivo only outputs composite video (not RGB) so make sure your TV is set to take composite video from the TV output of TiVo

I think the default is chn 65 but if you only have 2 minutes before the green led goes off you may never find it.

Most likely your box has a hard disk drive problem :(
