I just noticed that one of my units has ver. 3.2 software. Are there any known changes?

There's a Service Data Update Guide under the Customer Support section on www.tivo.com :

(don't know if you can get to it from here). But, from what I can see, there's no discernable difference between 3.0 and 3.2. It depends on what you had before.

Dave, I think that list reflects the transition from 2.5 to 3.0 (skip to tickmarks, for example was a part of 3.0).

3.0 was supposed to be the platform that would "merge" the original Series 2's that came with 2.0 and the Series 1's, then at 2.5. 3.2 I think was more of a problem solving release for Series 2's. The only differences I noticed was the ability to use View Upcoming in Showcases and TiVolution magazine as a normal feature and the restoration of ETI if you turn on the clock display. Then, of course the other biggie is that there is as yet no known backdoor code.
