I have SVR-2000 upgraded with an additional 80 GB disk and I bought a SVR-3000 and a 120 GB disk yesterday that I haven't setup yet. I would like to be able to take all of my recordings off of the SVR-2000 and copy them to the SVR-3000 using mfstools.

Has anyone done this yet? Any thing I should worry about? Does Hinsdale's guide cover how to do this?

Copying the files from one platform to another is not possible.

Well, what you could do is set up the S-Video output of the SVR-2000 as the input for the SVR-3000.....and do manual recordings.
