I used the original version of Hinsdale's instructions and kept a backup image, fully expecting to add a B to my existing A. Managed to corrupt both my new B and existing A, so I need to reimage, but of course I have one of the refurb Sony Standalones with 13 partitions that doesn't restore. Could someone please PM me with a way to find the appropriate image via the new MFS Tools that works with the SVR2000?

Thanks to everyone for the help!

Regarding the partitions, my (limited) understanding is that SONY built their TiVo drives with more drive partitions than are normally used.

120 hours here I come....
