Tivo go BOOOOM

I have a Phillips HDR112 that was hacked to 140 hours (before i bought it from ebay at a very good price).

I added tivonet and tivo web, then about a week later while watching I hit fast foward and it wouldn't stop fastforwarding -- tried everything. So I unplugged the unit. On powering it back up all I get is the "Please wait your tivo is starting up" (Black screen with the tivo logo).

So to all my tivo friends -- this sounds like bad hard drives -- agree?

If so -- how do i get my tivo back? As I said I bought this unit pre hacked -- so no back up drive.

You will need to:

1) Buy a new drive
2) Download a factory image for your Tivo model..Make sure you get the right one for your Tivo Model and Software version.
3) Read up on the documentation for MFSTools on how to copy the facotry image to your new drive.

Links for #2 can not be posted on this forum..Check your PM

Hope this helps
