I have an HDVR2 and a SA 60 hr TIVO. Before I start taking things apart, is there any reason why I can't use the 60gig in the TIVO in the HDVR2 for a total of ~100gig?

I plain to use Hinsdale to perform the upgrade, so I have no problem with that. But there might be a "gotcha" in trying to use the 60 gig ?

Also, I am running a dual boot system. If I select the ME configuration, will I still risk the signature implant problem? I have a 20gig partition formatted for ME.

The HDVR2 only has mounting points for one hard drive, complicating the seating of a second drive. I believe you can purchase an additional bracket from 9thtee.

I already ordered the bracket and tools, which were shipped 2 hours after I ordered them ! Way-to-go 9th Tee :)

I'm not new to R/R hard drives. But I have only done it with computers.
