Love Tivo but remote is lacking. Could be a Universal remote and have lighted buttons.

If Tivo offered a new remote I would be more than happy to buy it.

Lighted universal remotes that work with TiVo are already available in stores near you.

The MX-500 seems to be the most popular one around here. Personally I use an older Radio Shack model, the 15-1994, but they have several newer models that are about equivalent, including, IIRC, some that don't need to be programmed but have TiVo support built in. You can learn everything imaginable about such things at www.remotecentral.com.

Hmm, looks like the TiVo Store no longer offers transparent remotes, otherwise I'd suggest getting one and modding it for internal lighting.

I like my Radio Sack 15-1994. I have upgraded it to work with TiVo via the "JP1" cable.
