iMDB reported today that Joe Millionaire and Zora Andrich have already broken up:

'Joe Millionaire' Winner Says Fox Altered "Aftermath" Episode

Zora Andrich, who had been making some unflattering comments about Evan "Joe Millionaire" Marriott in recent interviews, confirmed in an interview with TV Guide Online that she and Marriott have broken up. "I realized almost immediately after the taping of the final episode ... that it wasn't meant to be," she said. Asked why that attitude was not apparent on Monday's Aftermath special, Andrich replied that while she and Marriott were "both genuinely happy to see each other ... there was also some editing done that gave the viewer more hope than there was."

I don't think I'm going to watch another one of the Joe Millionaires (FOX said they have thought up a new one)....

There was just TOO MUCH editing.. bad editing.. and editing that tried to make things out to be what they weren't.

The reality wasn't good enough so they made up thing through editing.. long pauses.. silences... slurps... etc...

LOL, what a bust this show was! It was pretty entertaining the first time around, but if FOX tries another JM-type show with the heavy and sloppy editing style they used in JM, I don't think I'll be tuning in.

Zora: "there was also some editing done...." Gee, you don't say....

I knew he didn't get anything lasting out of the show when he appeared on the Howard Stern show before the decision show even aired.

That's true but remember he also said that he made no money from the show which was not exactly true.

Yeah, huge ratings for FOX. People all over the country discussing the show right after it airs. Man, I bet they'll try anything like this again :)

Actually, it was REALLY good ratings for FOX--the best they've had for any non-sporting event.

My Big Fat Greek Life got huge ratings, too, but it sucked and will likely be canceled soon. I watched JM, but I doubt I'll be watching again. It was fun once, I guess, but what I meant by "what a bust" is that in hindsight the show was just a waste of time. Well, of course it was a waste of time, but what I mean is that it was a guilty pleasure with very little pleasure. Shows can be trashy yet still be entertaining, but I thought this show faltered toward the end. But, you may be right, all the people that got sucked into JM the first time might get sucked in again. Not me, though, not unless they drastically improve it.

true.. Had to lie about that.. But he didn't have to lie when he was telin Howard that the girls were not all that great (or something to that effect). I know it's a different network, but Trista always told people that she was indeed with one of the guys and was in love.

If they do another one, it will have to be much different from this one, because people know about this now. Will FOX be able to fool 30 more women into thinking they are getting a change to marry a millionaire? I doubt it. There will have to be some other big twist.

MBFGL got good ratings for one episode. We'll have to see how it does after a couple of episodes. The XFL debuted HUGE, but it fell way off and never came back. Joe Millionaire at least sustained some pretty decent ratings over it's season, and got a huge finale.

fox has yet to go wrong with overestimating the stupidity of women.... to be fair to the women though, fox probably wouldn't go broke overestimating the stupidity of men either.

Gotta give a nod to the Simpsons reference. Did you post it over on the "best simpsons line" thread?
