Follow up to Joe Millionaire: Mr Personality

Fox announced a new show called Mr. Personality that will begin casting soon. The show features an attractive, young, single woman who is courted by several men. The catch being the men's appearances are all hidden to the woman, but available to viewers at home. After she whittles down her suitors to one, he will reveal his looks, and she will then decide whether to stay with him, or leave him.

This could be good.

Man, here I was dissing Joe Millionaire and I'm already ready to set up an SP for its offspring. I'm a sucker, but it does sound much more entertaining than the Joe Millionaire premise. The Dating Game meets reality TV.

Funny thing, I would actually try out for this show if it wasn't for the "You need to be avaiable for 3 weeks in March/April" stipulation. How can these people just take off work for that long on such short notice? I'll be 25 a couple days after the casting and they are casting fairly close to home. I probably wouldn't get picked anyways since I don't date very often.

I love Fox. I am enjoying each step on their journey from second tier network to the broadcast equivilent of Spice.

How long before we see "Married by Gloryhole"???;)

I've wondered that too. But I noticed on American Idol several of the contestants have noted that they are now unemployed, since they lost their jobs by heading off to participate in the show.

I like this premise better than Joe Millionaire. I felt they should have aimed for casting an ugly guy instead of someone they thought was hot. They set it up as personality vs. money, so they should have made him ugly but charming and rich.
