I am trying to install a turboNet card. The literature that came with my TurboNet card says

The term DTivo does this mean Direct TiVo, I am asking, as I want to be
very sure before I run tivoflash and flash my drive, and that this term DTivo applies to me. From previous posts from whic I understand (only A drive, without B drive connected).

I have dual drive Philips DSR6000, my software verson on my dual drive Philips DSR6000 is Software Version 2.5.2-01-1-00, do I have to upgrade this software?

Yes, DTiVo is short for Directv TiVo Combo. The TiVoFlash software puts a different version of the boot prom software on the DTiVo, this will let the software changes stick on the harddrive.

Version 2.5.2 of the TiVo software is the highest version that will work with the HU card that came with your DTiVo. After DirecTV sends you a replacement P4 card for your subscribed HU card, you will automatically get a software upgrade to v3.1.
