Universal remote for DVD?

One of the many things I like about Tivo, (I have three Philips models), is the remote control. It is easy to use even in the dark (as long as you don't have it upside down - which is still easy to feel to determine).

I also have three DVD players. All three are different brands, Sony, Panasonic, and Pioneer. The Panasonic is better than the other two but none of them would be easy to use in the dark. If I want to watch a DVD in bed and do anything other than pause I pretty much have to turn on the lights and search for the button(s) which are labeled so small that even with lights on it takes a lot of time.

Is there a simple universal remote out there that provides nicely placed big buttons that will:

Play
Stop
Pause
Search Quickly - forward and reverse
Jump to menu
Jump to chapter

I use two cheap universal remotes made by UEI. The 8 device RCA RCU810 cost me about $29 delivered and the Radio Shack 5 device 15-2103 for about $14 at my local Radio Shack. Both have good backlighting if you need to find something in the dark and can't. I like both really well and both have learned to control the devices needed in their respective systems. I have a feel for the most used buttons by touch but do rely on the backlighting on occasion. The MX500 is very nice if you want to spend much more money.

I use the Sony RM-VL900 (living room) and Sony RM-VL700 (bedroom) universal remotes.

They both have a the 4-button "circle", which you can program to work just like the circular disc on the TiVo remote.

I prefer the bigger VL900 - because it has a button in the middle of the circle, which I've set to be the "Select" button.

These buttons are all right below the play/ff/rew/stop (instant replay)/rec/pause buttons, so your finger never has to move much. Right below that are volume and chan up/down (page up/down).

Even my wife loves it.
