Question about Teleworld

Last night, I was looking at the guide for The Learning Channel. I noticed that there were two entries late last night for Teleworld Paid Programming. I only thought that they were on the Discovery Channel. I went to one of them to see if they were set up to record and they were not. I then looked at upcoming showings and they were not even listed as upcoming shows.

Are these for Series 2's(I have two series 1's)? And why were they invisible to any lookup screen. If you didn't see them in the guide, you would not know that they were there.

You won't see these explicitly in the ToDo list.

I know, but if you would do a search by title on Teleworld, and look at the entry, at least mine shows that it is set to record and at what quality, these were not set up to record at all, and they were not on Discovery either.

I can tell you for sure that Teleworld Paid Programming recorded off of TLC last night. It's the first time I was still up when it recorded. There wasn't anything new in it, and it even included the expired Series 2 upgrade offer.

What's interesting is that since TPP is now on TLC the APP (on Disc) causes a change to the previous channel it was on when it's done now that APP isn't followed by TPP.

I recently changed providers and it so happens that my DSC doesn't have the CC coming through. Therefore, only the data screen gets processed and none of the clips because there are no visible CC breaks for the TiVo to see (even though all of the recordings are there).

I would much prefer the PP on TLC, but it seems like it was a one-time thing.

I justed searched by title, and set up to record Teleworld at 3:33am on Thurs. i went to the to do list, and it was listed to record. the only codes i have enabled, are 30 second skip, and sort(slow-0-record-thumbs-up). would one of those allow you to see it in the to do list? just curious.

I think it's only hidden if it records it by itself (without you explicitly telling it to). *shrug*

If you check the backdoor codes posting in the Underground, there's one that will show scheduled suggestions in the To Do list. That one also reveals scheduled recordings of both Teleword Paid Program and Advanced Paid Program. But you'll need to be able to enable backdoors to use them, and not all versions have a known backdoor code.

I miss TiVo Takes.

Huh? TPP = Teleworld Paid Programming, right? TLC = the channel. APP = ??

APP = Advance Paid Programming. Another set of data downloaded to the DVR.
