If you missed any of the current "half-season" of the Shield, FX will be recapping the season starting Wednesday 3/26 at 7p showing two episodes each night back to back until 4/1 with the season finale, "Dominoes Falling"
Note: Times are PST.

Half-season? Since when are 11 episodes out of 13 considered "half"?

I always consider 22 episodes minimum for a full season. (i.e. the original 24 had 24 episodes 1 hour each). Lately though Scifi, USA, Fox, have been doing half seasons and calling it a whole.

To me a season is a season no matter how long it is. NFL season = 5 months, MLB season = 7 months, so NFL is not 5/7 of a season. UK TV Seasons vary in length as do US (sometimes 24, 22, 18, 6).
Just my opinion,

Most cable networks run 13 episodes as a standard. 22 episodes is only a full season when a show is being run on an OTA broadcast network.
The Shield, Sopranos, Sex In the City, and Queer as Folk are all perfect examples of this.

True, but then Cable gets two seasons a year versus OTA's one.
Whatever. The crap's on TV. Watch it if you missed anything! ;)

Not to jump on you, but that is not true in all cases. The Shield only shows 13 eps per year.

I watched Bourne Identity tonight. Anyone else catch Shane from Shield as one of the CIA analysts?
