Letterman with Bonnie Hunt hosting

Anyone see the Letterman show from the other night with Bonnie Hunt hosting?
She had Carson Daily (formerly linked with hottie Tara Reid) as a guest and it was pretty darn funny.
I was telling my wife that Carson Daily is just a bit 'too pretty' and about the same time, Bonnie Hunt cracked a few zingers on him for saying something about going off somewhere with a 'boyfriend'.
Of course he followed up with a 'I'm not gay, but if I was, my friend is the kind of guy....' comments, but it was definitely funny to see him looking so pretty boy saying it.
After seeing Bonnie Hunt hosting, I think she'd make a great replacement for Letterman over the long haul, if he decides to step down. She was really pretty funny.

She was hilarious!
I'd never seen her before -- she was so sharp and quick-witted, I'd watch a talk show she was hosting anytime.

She's a regular guest. They have a great rapport.

Agreed, Bonnie is hilarious.

When is Dave expected back? Obviously the war kind of changes everything around, but I was wondering when he would be well enough to return should they decide to put on regular programming.

When did they air this? I have a WL for Bonnie Hunt, and it was supposed to air Wednesday night. Because of the war coverage, though, it didn't. Did it air Thursday?

Are you sure it didn't air on Wednesday night for you? In my case (Pacific time zone), I played my Late Show recording and got war coverage, and not even a scroller at the bottom to indicate that the Late Show had been canceled for that night.
However, I decided to fast-forward through the recording just to make sure, and lo and behold, the show was actually there -- but ten minutes late. So I was able to watch all but the last five minutes or so of the show (since the last ten minutes always contain around five minutes' worth of commercials).

on the east coast, here in NJ, we lost the first 25 minutes or so to war coverage, but caught bonnie with carson (hilarious!) and the comedian (they warmed up after a cold start). she was fantastic.

Nope, I'm pretty sure it was all war coverage. I deleted it this morning, and I can't remember for sure or not whether I fast-fowarded through the whole thing, but I'm *pretty* sure I did.
Oh, well; maybe they'll repeat it. I think Bonnie Hunt is one of the funniest people on the planet.

It's too bad all of her sitcoms have been crap though. She's much better than the sum of those parts.

Bonnie with Carson? Carson who?

Her first guest was Carson Daly, from Last Call with Carson Daly and Total Request Live.

OK. Good. Because I was gonna be really p!ssed if 1) Johnny Carson did Dave's show without Dave, and/or 2) I MISSED IT!

No, no, Johnny Carson was on the night after.

I know. I saw that one.
