Fair Price For NFL Sunday Ticket?

What do you guys think would be a fair price for NFL Sunday Ticket? I'd imagine that $ 200 is a lot of money for many folks, and was just curious what the cutoff would be.

Fair? It depends how much you enjoy football on Sunday afternoons. Watching three-four games at once during the fall has been one of my favorite routines for a couple of years. I'd pay twice the price if I had to. It was the first reason that I switched to Direct TV in the first place.
I understand that few are nuts like myself, but my point is that this is a personal question. I wouldn't subscribe to baseball if it were 5 bucks a season, but the enjoyment I receive from the NFL can not be pinpointed in an exact cost. Of course I couldn't justify a thousand bucks for a season, but it's ridiculous debating wheither Sunday Ticket is worth $9 a week but not $13. It really just depends on the individual.

What difference does it matter what one thinks the "fair" cost should be? The package is priced what it is after the contract negotiations. If you don't like the price don't pay it, but I don't think DirecTV is going to barter over it.

That discussion is being hashed to death here http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-v...threadid=106368

My post wasn't so much about the rising cost, directly, but really how I feel that DirecTV has let the NFL "bully" them around so much. I just would like to see them stand their ground a little more in negotiations.

Not me... The last thing I'd want is for cable to get a shot at this package. The NFL puts out a great product for a bargain price. They deserve every penny of the $119 (less than 8 bucks a week) or so they got from me so I could view every single game all season. If you think about it... that's ridiculously low.
