Today is the first time I have ever seen the GSOD. Is it supposed to stay on, or is the TiVo supposed to display it for 10 seconds, then reboot, then show it for 10 seconds, then reboot? (lather, rinse, repeat) :mad:

It should be on for up to a few hours, then correct itself. Are you stuck in a reboot loop?

Yup. Already gave up and restored a backup image. Going through Guided Setup now. Didn't think it could fix itself while it was constantly rebooting. ;)

Yeah - did you check the drive while it was in your PC? Might be a physical problem . . .

The drive is good. It got hosed while I had it temporarily installed in another unit (see the tread titled "Lines on my screen"). It got screwed up by apparently bad hardware.
