Hello,

What is the largest size HD that can be used to upgrade a Sony Series 1 TiVo unit? I'd like to buy 2 drives to replace the current A drive and to add a new B drive. Thanks for all the help! This forum rocks!

You can use up to 137GB per drive. If you get a great deal on a 160GB drive, then go for it, otherwise 120GB per drive is the best value.

btw 7200RPM and 8MB cache don't give any discernable performance boost over 5400RPM and 2MB cache HDs (due to the TiVo architecture). A 3 year warranty is a much better bet.
