System: TurboNET wired (200GB) unit... been working fine through my local network for the last month... only got the ethernet card recently... been on a lifetime guide subscription for the last couple of years and haven't suffered guide update issues in the past.
Since last Wed my tivo no longer gets updates, or successfully completes test calls - the error being returned is "Number unavailable" (which actually looks like being ST number 14 "service unavailable").
Anyone with similar problems? or has encountered this before?
Thought I would ask here before starting the trawl through the code, or through tcpdump sessions to work out what has changed.

do a search for transparent proxy , this is the usual indicator for a failing shucgh as listed in your email

BIG thanks... the "Content-Length" 0 hack seems to have done the trick - test call OK ... now doing daily update.

Not a problem , I also had it working for a while and then ttopping for no apparent reason.
I wonder if Gary has this in the FAQ section????
