Did movie commitments keep Ethan Embry away from this weeks Dragnet episode or is he being written off the show already?

He's back next week because it's a rerun.

However, since they're not showing the episodes in the order in which they were filmed, he may be back in a new episode before he disappears for the second episode he had to miss.

Ratings wise, is "Dragnet" doing well? I love this show, much like I did the briefly-aired "Big Apple" with Ed O'Neill a couple of years ago. Will it be back next year?

Sorry, I should know better than to trust TV Guide. This Sunday's episode is new, and it contains Ethan Embry. (To give you some idea of the out-of-orderness, last Sunday's was production #3415, and this Sunday's is production #3411.)
