Sent a message to customer support but I'm not able to download TiVoDesktop.exe after purchasing HMO:

Clicking on the download link gets a CGI error (i.e it is trying to run TiVoDesktop.exe on the server)

Rt-clicking and choosing "Save target as..." fails with an error from Internet Explorer that it is unable to access the file.

Very frustrating! Also note that there does not appear to be a way to navigate to the checklist/download from Tivo.com after purchasing HMO unless you bookmarked it!

Finally, clicking on "buy HMO" after you already have HMO for all your DVR's produces an error saying that none of your DVR's support HMO -- misleading, what you really mean is that they all have it already!

All minor things! Now I'm just waiting for my boxes to download 4.0 and to get the TiVoDesktop!

The powers that be have wisely relocated the download to a higher bandwidth server AND made it a ZIP file.

Still not sure why they're allowing anyone to download it. Should be restricted to HMO registered users, at least for the initial crunch.

We are aware of an issue that prevented some customers from downloading the PC version of TiVo Desktop earlier today.

We have replaced the executable file with a zipped version which seems to have solved the issue. Please let us know if you experience any additional issues with downloading the file.
