I have a DirecTiVo SAT T-60 with one drive (the original). I am thinking about adding a 2nd drive and was wondering what were people's experience with Weaknees.com? Any comments would be appreciated.

Also, I have seen an awful lot about heat problems with SAT T-60 with 2 drives. Is this a big concern? How have people handled this issue?

I just bought and installed a 120g add-on drive from them last week. It came with their Twin Breeze bracket. Install took less than 30 minutes, including adding on the additional fan and replaceing the stock one. I just purchased another TwinBreeze bracket to upgrade my other HDVR2 with a spare drive I have laying around, and they responded to my e-mailed questions promptly. In my experience, these guys are great!

I am running several 2 drive D-TiVos including one SAT-T60. Once I elevated them and blocked the inflow and outflow vents from each other, I am getting low 40s to high 40s depending on room temperature. Keep it in the open with good airflow and it seems to work alright. Obviously you are increasing your chances of a hard drive failure by having two drives but I am comfortable with it.
