Mfstools2 won't boot on my Gateway GP7-866

Information for whatever reason:
I have found a PC that Mfstools2 won't boot on. I have a Gateway GP7-866 with 512mb ram and the bootable Mfstools2 floppy won't complete its boot. It prints out the Loading......., then follows with a series of lines of:
100
AX:0212
BX:5400
CX:0C01
DX:0000
This 5 line sequence continues forever.

My fix was to use my old 200mhz Pentium Pro and everything worked just fine. It does appear that it will take over 16 hours for the complete copy/expand from an 80mb drive to a 120mb drive. After one hour of copy, it was 6% done.

I had a similar situation and found it was a conflict with the bios. but I dont know how to solve the problem I used a different comp. sorry
