I am looking to copy a tivo image from a 30 hour sony to a 120 gig samsung. I am using a drive duplicator. my question is what comand do I need in linux or mfstools to make the tivo see the extra space?

Instead of using a disk duplicator it would be much better to do

mfsbackup -Tao - /dev/hdb | mfsrestore -s 127 -xpi - /dev/hdc

So you increase swap as you upgrade. Extra swap will be important if you want to upgrade further later on.

In Hinsdale's guide in section 10)
quote:
With a backup image already on your new upgrade drive then use ONE of the following to expand:

(The following command assumes your new larger upgrade A drive – with image - is connected as Secondary Master)

mfsadd -x /dev/hdc (expanding single larger A drive
