I have received serveral requests for the program MakeTiVoBootable, and I'm glad it's proven useful, however I don't need to be asked where it is every few weeks. I thought I had explained this before, but to download this util, go to http://pvrhack.sonnik.com and click on downloads. It's in a group of utils called "TiVo Partition Tools." Download that and go to work. I tried searching for MakeTiVoBootable, and it didn't show up. Is the index service borked?

If any one would like to include it for download on another site or a tools archive CD, please feel free as long as you abide whatever copywrite is stated. Again, I'm glad it's useful, but I don't support it and hope ppl are able to download it without asking me where it is.

ps: I've never verified if S2 boxen use the same partition map scheme, and byte swapping is different, so be careful on them. Even if it is the same PM, you might have to play with byte swapping.

pps: If you don't know what this is or what it does, don't worry about it. You'll figure it out if you ever need it.

Just a suggestion but why don't you create a signature with that link included in your signature?

Then noone has to look far for the URL.
