Did a search, didn't see this yet.

Joe rogan listed as a host for 2003?

It's been mentioned before in passing. AFAIK, the new Joe Rogan (and Doug Stanhope) episodes are not yet in production, and I even don't know if there's anything to them beyond the rumor/idea stage. They were supposed to have started taping in March, but I haven't heard anything.
There are only three new episodes of the Kimmel-Carolla-hosted show remaining (#407, #413, and #420). I hope that Comedy Central decides to let the show end after showing them, instead of trying to make it limp on with someone like Rogan. The Man Show is great because it works on multiple levels, and I really don't think Rogan would be able to pull that off, since I doubt he has any appreciation for the show on anything but the basest level.

Joe Rogan and Doug Stanhope? That is wild. The first few times I heard Doug Stanhope on XM Comedy I thought it was Joe Rogan. Stanhope sounds like a gruff Joe Rogan. The two of them together would be awesome!

As long as they wrap up with "Girls Jumping on Trampolines" I don't much care who they have during the rest of the show. In fact, if they can't find a good replacement for Kimmel, maybe they could add "More Girls Jumping on Trampolines."

Uh-oh. I think I have some bad news for you:quote:
If the show does return sans Kimmel, it would have a whole new spin. The show's current writers all have other jobs and so does much of the production staff. So the new "Man Show" would have to start from scratch.
And what about those girls on trampolines?
"It's been done," Rogan says.

I'd consider watching it in a revised version.. only, and only if they show more.. much more of juggy Vanessa..

Um, just how well do you know Joe Rogan?
First got a glimpse of him in news radio, then found out he does standup, then moved on into fear factor.
I think he can pull it off.

I just don't see the point of this new incarnation, other than Comedy Central grasping at straws.
I like Jimmy and Adam both. And it is too bad I will have one less place to see Adam Corolla because I think he is very funny... But I don't get this potential re-casting... The man show was pretty hit and miss for me anyways, and was never a show I had to see.
I like Joe Rogan as well, but I just don't see the fit.
I would rather see them create a new vehicle for Joe Rogan. As for Doug Stanhope all I know him from is that Hidden Camera show that was burned off during the summer (was it on CBS?). The weird thing about it is the show had a different name from when they taped it. So they kept refering to the show during the bits, but the name was different.

I've seen every episode of Newsradio.
I've seen a lot of Joe Rogan's standup.
I've seen many episodes of Fear Factor.
I don't think he can pull it off.
This is just my (inconsequential) opinion.
