Search HBO?

This problem has been bothering me for some time now. I got my Tivo after Christmas so I'm relatively new. The only premium channel I get is HBO, but I get 6 or 7 different HBO stations. Is there a way I get a list of all the movies that will be shown on all these stations for the next 2 weeks. The HBO Showcase doesn't do it, and when I use the WishList, I can't separate the HBO movies from those shown on TNT, TBS, etc. It is really annoying that I have to use the guide and scroll down for two weeks on every channel. Especially since HBO repeats movies over and over.

Not near my TiVo to test this, but you might be able to do something with Favorite Channels. Add all the HBO channels to your Favorite Channels list, and then create a wishlist for movies on those channels.
I have HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax, and I used to wish for a way to find newer movies to record. Thanks to a tip from someone here, I figured out that I could search for "Movies and 2002" to get all movies made that year. If you're looking for just newer movies like I was, that might also work for you.
(speaking of that Wishlist, it found Scooby Doo for me on Sunday on HBO Family...and it isn't showing on the main HBO channel until a week later)

Live guide is your only option. You do know that you can use Ch Down to move a screen/page at a time? You can't narrow a WL to specific channels or broadcaster.
I assume this is a standalone? Since you are probably looking for newer movies, you can create a WL for movies that have 2003 in the title, do the same for 2002, etc, or use a wildcard: 200* to get 2000 and later.
Note, this only works for movies, not other programs.

I'll try your suggestions. I'm not concentrating on newer movies, I just don't want to watch edited movies with commercials on the cable channels.

This probably isn't what you want, but... tou can also use the newly-released TiVo Central Online, I think. EVERYONE has free access to the guide data there. In order to schedule anything from there (via remote scheduling), you have to have a Series 2 with HMO, though.
Like I said, probably not what you're looking for.

Edit your favorite channels list to include only the HBO channels and then go to the Record by Time/Channel section. It allows you to restrict what you see to favorite channels. This will let you surf through all the HBO's together by date/time. I do the same thing except I also have Starz and Showtime groups included along with HBO's and TCM. All commercial free movie channels.:)

Here's the method I use: After you've edited your Favorite Channels (an option under Messages and Setup), go to Live TV, hit the Guide button, then press either Enter or Display (depending on your remote) to bring up the guide filter options. Set it to display only Favorite Channels, and then set it to display only Movies. Then you can quickly go through each of your HBO channels to see what's coming up.

Yeah, I'm chiming in about the Live Guide, too--even though it has faults, like if you're browsing a different channel than the one recording, and you have to go more than one menu deep to record, it will pop back to the present day/time/channel rather than where you started. So you have to remember where and when you were and navigate back...
I use it to browse Sundance, IFC and Turner Movie Classics. I'm almost to the point of giving up the other premiums 'cause I have too much to watch...
