Hi Tivsters:

A couple of times I have recorded "Pretender" and it appears in the now playing with everything right. But when I start Play it is something else I never heard of??? It has never happened with anything else. Anybody else had this happen?

It must be bad guide data or a last minute change to the schedule. It happens from time to time.

The last few weeks my TiVo has recorded 'National Geographic Explorer' for me but when I watch it it's some talk news program.

What is your setup? Are you using the IR blaster to change channels on a cable box? If so, perhaps it's dropping digits or something. In other words, are you sure it recorded the correct channel? Now Playing would have the correct listing, but if the box didn't change channels, it will just record the wrong thing.
