I have just done the upgrade, using MFSTools and put the new drive into the Tivo (UK) unit.

I have now powered up and it has been stuck as the 'Welcome. Powering up.........' page.

Please can anyone advise.

Have you checked to make sure your jumpers are set properly?

Thanks, yes I check and the jumpers are OK.

Just put the origianl HD back in, which has never been booted before, and the system is coming up.

I cannot find the files that MFSTools put on my hard drive which doing the copy does anyone know the filenames?

MFSTools doesn't add files to your TiVo hard drive.

How did you have the drives connected to your PC? (Primary or secondary controller, master or slave)

Are you adding a second drive, or just installing a larger drive?

I can find the Tivo.bak on the PC, which is 367MB in size.
