I have an HDVR2 DirectTiVowith a 40gig and using MFS 2.0 to upgrade to a 120gig.... A to a larger A.

I used Hinsdales guide to upgrade and got to the backup stage...The proper proceedures were followed when installing drives. Power was off and unplugged when setting jumpers and plugging in and removing power. I was using 98se and was able to mount but when I typed ...

mfsbackup -f 4138 -6so /mnt/dos/tivo.bak /dev/hdc /dev/hdb

It came back with and error message (should have wrote it down)
Something about input/output error. Then after checking configuration everything checked out and tried various things I tested back in the TiVo and did not work....stays on "power up" screen. I thought I was folllowing the guide closely... I need the recordings off the original drive....can anyone help?
