Ok I upgraded to HMO and got the 4.0 software update. The recording time went up just a bit. Instead of Variable up to 243 hours under 3.2, it now shows Variable up to 246 hours. Is this a real increase, or just a different number?

I have a 160GB drive and a 80GB drive installed. 3 hours isn't enough to indicate I got my 40GB of unused space on the 160GB yet, but did I get a few more blocks of space?

Most everyone has seen similar changes since 4.0...I'd say it's just a new formula they are using to determine total recording time.

I went from 298 to 302 and 87 to 88 after each unit upgraded to 4.0.

We've seen about a 1% to 2% increase across units with 4.0.
