Has anyone heard if HBO will be airing another season of Hard Knocks? Its a great show and I hope another NFL team agrees to do it. (Although it seems to be a curse)

Anyways has anybody heard anything about this show?

I woul dhave loved for it to have been Tampa Last year. I still wouldn't mind that. However I am a bit biased and being a Lions fan would love to see them showcase Mariucci's first year in Detroit.

You had me all excited with your subject because I thought you were announcing the details of this year's HK. I really hope HBO does it again this year. It's an excellent program and really shows us a different side of the game.

Yeah, its one of my favorite shows on TV. I wouldnt mind seeing the Redskins on there but I dont want them to get jinxed. I checked the HBO website and there is no news on the show there.

How would you know if the Redskins got jinxed? Not like they've been lighting the world on fire without being on TV ;)

You have a point, I am a disgruntled season ticket holder so I have witnessed the last couple of Skins seasons in person. It got ugly I admit.

They would be jinxed however if they did worse then the previous season. With all the new talent they have this year they should make the playoffs.

Says you're from Baltimore...shouldnt you be making fun of the Ravens?

Man I wish I knew about this show earlier. This September will be my first tivo NFL season. So is it kind of like ESPN's "the season", a sports documentary following a team through their season?

It's similar to "The Season", but "Hard Knocks" only covers the 6 weeks of pre-season training camp. The typically focus on a couple of rookies and their transition from college to the pros. The coaches from the past 2 seasons have been pretty candid, and there have been a couple of instances where we get to see a player being cut.
