I think it's a great idea. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone currently knows how to do it. Hence the lack of responses.

Thanks. If this is a linux based cpu, why doesnt someone create it? I mean as far as windows its a rightclick, create new folder away. Hopefully someone will. I just cant believe no one can do this.

Well, of course you can just use MKDIR to create a folder. But, you have to be telnet'ed in to your Tivo, or pull your Tivo drive and mount it on your PC. But, my guess is that creating a folder is worthless because the Tivo Software won't know what to do with it. So, I doubt you could actually store anything in your folder except for stuff you put there manually via telnet, ftp or whatever. And, there is a pretty good chance that the Tivo Operating system will kill your folder anyway. It does that to lots of stuff.

You could just make a wishlist with the title "Comedy" and all comedys will be in that folder... I noticed this when I put 2 wish lists, Basketball and another one for Los Angeles Lakers. The lakers games would come up in both folders.
Just make your wish lists and don't have them auto-record and you should be cool.
