I haven't seen all of Season 1 yet, but how does Angel lose the ring that makes a vampire invincible? Where does he wear it (I would think a toe would be the best place, and feet inside shoes)?

He realized it gave him too much power, so he destroyed it.

So he was worried that if anyone turned him evil he'd be too powerful... interesting, I didn't think of that off-hand. I don't think I would have destroyed it if I were him, though... things like this season's boss it would have been handy to have around for!

He wore the ring briefly on his finger, but he destroyed it because his character's a mopey broody suffering kinda guy, and the ring might have disrupted that :)
