JAG Finale *SPOILERS*

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

That was definitely interesting.

Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
I don't think the Admiral will really accept Harm's resignation. I think he was trying to make Harm see how much Sarah meant to him. Also, officers have to give 30-60 days notice before resigning.

So was Sarah's kiss to Clay a mercy " I think you're going to die, so I'm going to kiss you" type thing?

I assume next year we will find that the admiral relented and gave him leave. You're right, you can't just resign and leave.

Yes, it was a mercy kiss. She might have a soft spot for Clay but there was never a hint of a serious relationship so even thought he had a secret crush on her, she would not feel the same way. Especially after what she said to Harm before she left.

BTW, I can't tell you how pissed off I was at the last three episodes. No data to indicate is was a three parter and then a cliff hanger at the end! WDF?

Since the thread has **spoilers** in the header, I won't be adding the tags... so if you haven't seen it yet... don't read my post.

I agree that they should have indicated it was a three parter!

Resignation - I don't think the Admiral has to **accept** the resignation ... but I Do think that the Admiral will fail to process the paperwork, or otherwise, the paperwork won't go through, because of some missing / wrong information.

Webb and Sarah - I think that Sarah's feelings for him might have grown during their ordeal. Also, the statement to Harm a few weeks ago, indicates she is frustrated with him. She notices that he only becomes interested when she is going away. Webb might end up with her, unless he dies. And ... having Harm and Sarah together would kill one great underlying storyline :) I know it would create a new storyline, but I think it won' t have the same potential.

So, on top of this, do you also think that the other CIA agent is the leak? Not the driver, but rather the other guy, in the office?

Can't wait until the next season, though :)

I agree... I don't think there will be any problem with Harm keeping his job.

Don't think I or the characters can take any more dancing around the harm & mac thing. Either it happens or it doesn't but something has to change. I really don't think she has true feelings beyond friendship with web. There was a seen where she turned her head I don't really remember it all that well. I don't think web will die but he might. I think harm & mac will finally get together. However there might be an issue with them both working at jag. Maybe mac gets moved to NCIS?

And finally YES I think the CIA leak is the guy in the office.

I wouldn't be surprised if they play around for awhile with Mac/Webb just to create a bit of drama with Harm wanting her ..

Besides, there is a woman out there who thinks Harm is married to her daughter. We still have to explore that a bit further.

Basically both of our main characters were playing "marriage" with someone else, and they seem to have become fond of their "spouse" during it. That adds up to 4 or 5 episodes of one or the other not being ready to commit to each other .. right? Add in a few stand alone episodes along the way, and you can easily drag out the "will they/won't they" 'till November sweeps.

I definitely don't see Mac and Webb together. It's easy when you spend that much time alone with someone to develop some bonding, even moreso when they were under cover as husband and wife. Just more tension added to the Harm/Mac ongoing relationship. But I agree, they can't drag it out forever, but I don't think they're going to risk a Moonlighting either.

I agree, the station cheif is the leak.

That's nothing. Every episode of 24 has been a cliffhanger! (Except the last ep. of the first season.)

But then, you expected that from 24.

You know, I was somewhat surprised at the 2 parter followed by the 3 parter. It's a mean joke to play right near season finale week! Then again, personally, they could've ended the season a couple of weeks earlier at that real cliffhanger before. Then again, seeing planes dump lawyers is always a good way to go :D.

Then again, a number of shows always end the season in a cliffhanger - it's part of the season finale ritual. But still, to have those "to be continued" episodes ... man. (Although, last season had a pretty good season finale...)

Anyone ever notice that every plane that Harm ever flies crashes? Seriously, think about it...there aren't too many episodes where Harm flies a plane that it doesn't crash in some form or another. That being said, even though it is a minor storyline to the show, what affect will it have on his abililty to get his passport back from the Mennonite farmer?

Posted by: Worf

<lawyer joke>
Hey, when you think about it, it makes some sense... I mean, after all, what self-respecting plane would let it be flown by a lawyer? It would rather crash first...
</lawyer joke>

And maybe that's the real reason he stopped flying :D, not night blindness. Reminds me of the admiral in Hot Shots - flew 142 missions, shot down every one, never landed a plane...

I got such a kick out of seeing my wife's frustration that she would have to wait until next season to find out what happens. It's the little things in life ya know.....

I saw that comment ..... :)

I hate two parters, a three parter is even worse... Arggh!

Heh. I hate multi-part episodes as well, but they do offer a lot more in terms of story development. And it's nice when a season closes on a cliffhanger (but only if it's scheduled to start again... nothing worse than a cliffhanger with a cancelled series).

Although, the big thing is when they build up the suspense, only to close with an ultra-lame opening... it's good and bad I suppose.

oh you mean like The Agency this year?!?!?!?

... and John Doe?

I hate cliff hangers especially at the end of the season. It also seems like this series is coming to an end. They're putting it on Fridays next year if i'm not mistaken.

But back to the episode:
When Mac was kissing Webb and Harm saw I though he was going to say something then and there. Like I resigned my commision for this? Something has to happen next year with the Mac/Harm thing we've been waiting for so long they need to do it or end it. And I also think that the Admiral will not put in Harms resignation papers. And will Webb survive...I think so. Will the Gunney be back for more episodes?

And many other shows (I know of some, although the cliffhanger was easily resolved by looking at some evidence).

However, JAG seems to score in the top 10 shows usually, so there's little chance of it not returning...
