Anyone have an image for a TDC240080? Either software version 3.2 or 4.0.

Also, please see my thread regarding an upgrade issue I am having.

I went ahead and downloaded the 3.2 version (called it tivodown.bak), put the TIVO drive in my PC (secondary slave IDE), booted to Linux, and executed the following commands:

mkdir /mnt/dos
mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/dos
restore -zi /mnt/dos/tivodown.bak /dev/hdd

The restore completed successfully, but when I put the drive back in the TIVO (remembering to switch the jumper back to master), I still get stuck on the Powering up screen.

Any advice from anyone.

Hmm It looks like the comands were right I would try an alternate image from the other site when its available.

Would it be worth it to try and use the dd command instead of restore?
