Tom Waits was on Late Night with David Letterman tonite on Trio and, aside from having one of the most distinctive singing voices in the world, he was quite hilarious in the post-show chat with Dave. Good material about his then-new hair color getting him out of a speeding ticket; the Secret Service on his flight to NY; his movie "Big Time" etc. Well done!
