Hello all. Just decided to take the plunge and upgrade my tivo its a sony model svr2000. I had the 9th tee bracket, (1) maxtor 120gb 7200 rpm hard drive, and a western digital 100gb 7200 rpm hard drive. All seems to have gone well, the cd program reported the size of the hard drives correct. I just don't know if the hours are right on my tivo. It is now reporting 273 hours of basic recording time and 75 hours of best recording time. Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Also the Hinsdale directions say it takes 1.-4 hours or at most 8 hours. I didn't time it but I think mine took about 1hr or less, does this sound rite? Thanks for any help.:)

Your numbers seem right. My SVR3000 only shows 273 after adding two 120's.
Assuming you copied your recordings the time is depends on how much was there and what type of PC you are using. If you connected the drives to a PC with ATA33 or ATA100 you would see a large difference in the amout of time it takes to copy the data.
For me each of my upgrades with coping the recordings took about 1-1/2 to 2 hours to complete the copy process.
