TNT just announced that Boomtown will be repurposed on the cable channel starting next week (Monday 26th, 10 pm). Additionally, this deal extends to the new season.

Sweet, thanks for the heads-up. :)
I thought this was just going to be another thread stating that Boomtown had been renewed and moved to Friday nights. I'm sure glad I read it!

This is great news indeed. Boomtown was being repurposed on Bravo for a while -- with a stupid black bar and BOOMTOWN in gigantic letters. Ugh! It was unwatchable. TNT=no black bar, hopefully no BOOMTOWN in gigantic letters. Nice!

I'm almost as boring to people with my evangelism of Boomtown as I am with Tivo. Almost.

Excellent info! That just made my day. I've spent the past week looking for info on a DVD release, summer re-runs, even searching the P2P scene for MPEG's of the episodes to watch to get my Boomtown fix.

From the article
TNT will also run second-season episodes of the series shortly after they debut on NBC.
This is the best news in the article. Now I can set up a wishlist in case I ever end up with a conflict for the first run, I'll catch it on the second run on TNT. I did this with 24 on Fox and it's repeat a week later on FX.

Yes I realized how silly my question was about 5 mins after I asked it.

I caught the tail-end of the Boomtown season (about the last 4 episodes). The first episode I watched hooked me. This show is fantastic. They have great writing and an awesome cast.
A couple of weeks ago I set up an ARWL for Boomtown, hoping something like this (the TNT deal) would show up. I didn't see this thread until today, so I'm sure glad I set up the wish list, otherwise I would have missed the pilot last night. I was very pleasanly surprised to be looking at my now playing list last night and to notice Boomtown recording. I immediatlely forgot about everything else on the list and started watching Boomtown.
