There are many threads that talk about removing the signature from a drive that has been booted into windows XP. Most of them refer to a program called MakeTivoBootable by dmpratz, but none say where to get it or how to use it. Can someone PLEASE let me know. I have a series 1 tivo with tivonet that needs to be repaired and sold, but the only drive I have is a 46 gig XP sig'ed drive.

Just use MFS Tools 2.0 to restore an image to the drive... It should completely TiVo-ify the new drive, removing the signature and whatever else.

There is a utility called MakeTiVoBootable . But I can not find the thread with it attached.
