Platinum - MTV

I live in an area that does not get UPN (most of its programming winds up after hours on FOX) so when I saw Platinum was going to re-air on MTV I set up a Season Pass for it. My thinking was that it would give me a nice 6 episode arc to watch sometime this summer when things got slow.

My TiVo began faithfully recording them on a weekly basis through the first four episodes. But episode four was on 5/19 and there haven't been any since, nor are there any scheduled.

Basically all I want is somebody to confirm that MTV either:
a) showed the episodes and I missed them or
b) decided not to show the final two episodes.

Since the show wasn't brought back for next season I feel there's no compelling reason to watch half a season of a cancelled show. At the same time I don't want to delete the four episodes just to have two more show up in my to do list and I realize I could have had the whole run. And before some kind soul offers I don't need to see the show bad enough to bother somebody for a tape, just looking for a reason to delete 1-4 from Now Playing

Actually, I'm hoping that MTV will air the final two episodes also -- no, they haven't showed them yet -- but it doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon. If anything, UPN might show repeats during the summer. Not sure if the MTV agreement actually extends past June.

But if you do get a chance, the show is kinda worth it. It's obviously a bit dramatic, but it is what life in the music biz is like. The idea of being a like Law & Order -- and pullling stories from 'today's headlines' -- is kinda weak (didn't think Ridley needed to go there) but the characters are interesting, at least to me.
