I've just reinstalled a 212 backup downloaded off the ftp site that everybody pm'd me. I rebooted with the new drive and now I have to set up my tivo. I am using a turbonet card and have been for about a year with no problem.

The problem now is that my router wont recognize the turbonet card anymore. And I don't have a phone line. I went into the router config page and it doesn't recognize the tivo anymore.

I used to have 3.0, but now with the new backup installed (downloaded from the FTP) I don't really know which version I am running. Or is it the same no matter, and I'm barking up the wrong tree.

I know that you have to be running 3.0 or higher for turbonet to work. I just can't get past the initial tivo setup to check. I might just take it to a friend's house to make a daily call there and go from there.

Probably the system you downloaded is earlier than 3.0, so it won't work. Take it to a friend's to phone home, probably twice to get the upgrade, and then you'll be good.

Or you can download the hdr112 file with 3.0. and install that one.
