tivo for travel

It sure would be nice if were a travel version of the TiVo DVR, say one only with those features that do not require a subscription. The only recording option would be manually record time/channel, but there would still be the full advance/rewind features along with Live TV. Maybe limit the disk to 10G and keep the size similar to Apple's iPod or a CD player. Power would be either AC/DC converter and/or rechargeable batteries. Inputs and outputs would be reduced to cable in and out.

It would also be convenient if there was a feature to download some TV shows from your now playing list into your portable Tivo so you can watch them while your away on a trip.
