help with Wishlist
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Since I subscribe to all premium channels (HBO, Showtime, etc) I decided to create a wishlist for movie premieres. I used the keyword wishlist, entered PREMIERE and subcategory MOVIES. When I look to "view upcoming programs" none are found. Yet I know that several movies with the word Premiere in the program description are listed for this weekend. Is it because I've already programmed these movies to be recorded? Am I doing something wrong?

View Upcoming Programs will always show all programs whether they are set to record, are already in Now Playing, or whatever. The problem may be that the work Premiere may not be part of the description, but is after the description like "Letterbox". TiVo (actually, the SA TiVo) doesn't search on that either. I am at work, so I can't check to tell for sure.

Is "premeire" in the actual show description, or is it one of the category-like keywords off to the right? If the latter, you'll want to dig through the categories when creating a WL to find it.

Unfortunately, a category only wishlist for SHOW TYPES/Premiere won't do you much good -- too many hits.
And you can't combine 2 categories for a WL (ie Movies + Premiere).
If you're just interested in current movie premieres, your best bet is to check out this thread on DBS Forums toward the end of each month for the next month's premieres. Then set up a WL for the movies that look interesting.
Edit: Ooh, just thought of something else -- this is one instance where TiVolution Magazine is really, really useful. Check it out.

Yes, it is like "letterbox". Too bad I can't do it, it would be a good feature. Thanks for the replies. By the way, I have the combo box.
