After a storm, my Tivo locked up at Powering Up. I replaced the Drive and it froze on the screen Cleaning and deleting. I powered it down and it's still locked on Powering up screen. Can anyone help!!!!

In your Help Centre post you say that the TiVo was getting as far as 'Almost there'. This might suggest that your modem has been killed by the storm.
It would be a good idea to be a bit more forth-coming about your situation. Little details like, what model of TiVo it is, how you replaced the drive (replacement kit, downloaded backup, transfer from existing drive?) etc could be relevent.
Have you run diagnostics on the original drive? You'll need to get PowerMax from the support section of Maxtor's website.

Sorry about the details. New to forum. I have a Hughes Dual 40 and I replaced the HD with a replacement kit. everything I am reading says it's the modem now. My home PC is XP and I don't think I can hook the HD up from what I am reading. How can I get the TIVO to bypass the modem and boot up. I know think that my original HD is fine but I don't know.

XP's not too much of a problem, just disconnect the C: drive - you'll be booting off a floppy or CD.
It is possible to bypass the modem by renaming a file called modemtest, but you'll have to reflash the boot PROM to break the DTiVo lock-down. See the Turbonet installation instructions for details.
