When I upgraded my harddisk does it affect my subscription in anyway?
Will running the guided setup reconnect me with the subscription service?

I may not know much, but I do know that just upgrading your hard disk will not affect your subscription.

SORRY, will NOT affect your sub.

Just one little letter messed up the whole thing

Your sub is tied to a serial number in a chip on the mainboard (think about it...) therefore your sub will not be affect by anything you do to the hard drive.

This question always amuses me. Hinsdale goes into such pains taking detail on how to upgrade the hard drive, why do people think he might have forgotten to mention something important about the subscription.
