Pad "The Wire" this week

Looks like HBO was running behind this week. Although I haven't watched the episode yet, I noticed that this weeks episode went over time. I'm not sure by how much, but I went ahead and set the Tivo to record a later airing of the same episode.

Well, Sex & The City started a full 2 minutes late and ran past 930. Subsequently, The Wire started late (and presumably finished late -- haven't finished watching it yet).

But MG is right -- you should always bad The Best Show on Television! :D

I have the first 4 episodes, still waiting to be watched. I record them off of the West Coast Feed, and maybe even HBO2. Will I face problems here if I haven't padded these out?

I haven't had a problem this year.

But I did miss the endings of some the season 1 reruns when I finally got around to watching them last month. I should have learned my lesson then.

HBO has a pretty awful record when it comes to accurately posting their show times. It's a little ironic considering the TiVo sublot in an upcoming "Sex and the City" episode.

Based on this thread, I deleted my episode of this week's Wire and rescheduled it with 15 minutes padding. So I went to watch it last night and found that almost the whole thing was really a 'making of Charlie's Angels" thing. HBO must have really screwed up their schedules. So I set it to record the Wire again, one of hte 1am episodes. I hope it works this time!
