Scott, I know you were kidding around, but it actually ties into something I read today--Anderson has a "no nudity" clause in her contract for the show. So how are they going to get around nudity in a show about a super stripper?
Cartoon Pixelization. The way I read it, they are actually drawing the pixelization into the frame. I'm waiting for there to be some hidden message or something buried in the bluriness.

She has a "no nudity" clause?!? I assume that means they cannot portray her nude body since obviously, its a cartoon.
And I will just bet you are right about the subliminal pixelization, one more way for the channel which until recently was called Spike to squeeze a little more advertising in front of us. Talk about taking advantage of your visual focus points!

So, TNN is going ahead with it's "Spike TV" programming, even if they can't call it "Spike TV"??

This is true. I understand when in the studio recording the voice over she will be fully clothed at all times.

The show must go on...Now airing on Lee TV: Striperella

According to the interview I read, they will "strategically cover" the "naughty bits" with bubbles, blurs or other objects. It read to me a lot like the end of Austin Powers I (same joke repeated for II.)

Bump.
Anybody watch this? How was it?
Posted by: njtaz
I forgot to watch, but I think it is on again next week if anyone says it is worthwhile.

I just watched the TiVo recording. I should have padded the ending. But, it isn't anything that I'll SP.

While I'm not a big fan of cartoons, I heard Pam on Stern yesterday and she stated that one of the superpowers is that she can cut glass with her nipples. How can she do this with a no nudity clause? And why would the woman with the most nude pictures in the history of the Internet care?

She's trying to restore her good name.:)

Anyone notice the jaggies on the cartoon characters curved edges? Keep this clean guys. :)
It looks like they used 320x240 resolution.

They've split up. She confirmed it on the Stern show Thursday. So that explanation has no merit.

The Striperella deal was done and recorded before their split up. So it had merit at the time. So there ! :o

(First off can't believe I'm actually writing up an explanation on this)
Anyway....
Pam was on Leno last Wednesday I believe and she also mentioned the glass cutting nipples "super power" but the way she mentioned it seemed to me as if it was something she suggested in passing and the people behind the show decided not to go with.
Seemed sort of like a situation where she knew the glass cutting nipples was already a no-go. So she decided that she might as well mention it as an idea she had so she could get some cheap laughs and a few audience people to go "Oh, that Pam!"
Just my two cents

It's kind of interesting, actually, the whole cartoon nudity thing. I know that Comedy Central went through a whole thing before they aired nude (maybe just topless) puppets in Crank Yankers. And the first episode of Stripperella showed a woman's naked body floating inside a cylinder of liquid. So would they show other characters nude, just not Stripperella herself (because of the no-nudity clause)?
Anyway, I thought Stripperella was goofy and silly, and that's OK. It's poking fun at itself. If they bump up the pace a little bit, and get a few more good writers, I could be entertained. We'll see how the next couple of eps go.

What I noticed (and it was on Gary the Rat, too) was that the first half of the show was relatively clean, then the second half was heavily jaggied.
I personally will not be SPing it. As much as I like seeing actual women do it, I don't get watching cartoon strippers.
