Wow. I can't believe how angry Sean got during the elimination round. He was scary. And his facial tick sure added to the drama. I really thought that he was about to come unglued and go postal.

Next week looks like too much drama for me.

I wonder how much these guys are playing it up for the camera to get more air-time.

i really like this show, it has a little bit of everything which makes for great tv

I think they are SO playin it up for tv. That is the whole point of the show. To be funny enough to get airtime. How they do it is up to them. Being involved in drama is an easy way in, they just have to make sure they are funny by doing so..

I LOVED how they let you see the videos of the votes. GREAT WAY TO DO IT. That way you got to see what everyone said and thought. Plus you get to see who votes for the least funny versus the most threatening.

I was really upset because the two I actually find to be the funniest were up against each other. I knew Sean would lose. This also sucked because he was actually my very favorite so far from all the bits we've heard. I knew he would lose eventually because my tastes are very unlikely to be reflected by the live audience choices, but I was hoping to see more of him.

I don't like the drama aspects. Why do the teach the kid thing if they aren't going to have it count?

I thought Vos would be the first to go right away going into the episode, but Sean clearly rubbed everbody the wrong way. It seemed like everybody else was having fun with it, but he was dead serious. I like the voting procedure twist. And the comics didn't seem to know that their response would be aired to everyone in the room. Also, the material of the comics who went up against each other was much better than their open round stuff. Great concept for a summer reality show. I wonder what the ratings are?

I thought last night's show was good stuff. It had a real edge to it. Nothing fairer than to have a live audience decide who goes home and a really well thought out idea about how the two are chosen for the face off.

Couldn't believe how a comic (Sean) could be so serious and uptight. Wasn't too much of a surprise that he went down in flames.

Definitely a psychological slant to the house dynamics. There is a lot at stake for these guys and I think you'll see a lot of honest emotions as the show goes on.

This is television. Since when does honesty have anything to do with anything?

Because as was stated, there is a lot at stake here.

These people see stars and dollar signs in the eyes as the payoff for all this. This is what these people have been working for all their lives.

I think it trumps potentiall winning 500,000 dollars or a million dollars with no real buildup, as a motivational force.

They view this as the chance to really make it in the ir chosen profession.

I love this show. I was really worried after I saw they were going to be living in a house together, but they don't dwell on that too much.

I think that the "cha cha cha" spikey-haired woman is not the least bit humorous. Everyone else is at least okay.

I'm glad Shawn got the axe. He seemed too high and mighty.

One thing about Rich Vos. He will cream anyone he goes against. Have you ever seen him on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn? He's brutal sometimes.

I'm not sure how much this show will do for most of the comics' careers. I don't really even remember anyone's name but Rich and that's because of TC.

I hope fatty wins.

Not great, but they are in first place!

NBC moved ahead at 9 p.m. with "Last Comic Standing," which earned a 5.4/9. ABC was a distant second with "According to Jim" (5.2/9) and "Less than Perfect" (4.7/8). CBS took third with "The Guardian." UPN took fourth for the hour as "America's Next Top Model" had a 3.5/6 to top the 3.3/6 for FOX's "Keen Eddie." On The WB, "Smallville" had a 2.9/5.

I liked the "I know I'm funnier than..." format at the end. I was wondering how they were going to eliminate the comics and this seemed like a fair way to do it.
