Night Court (How'd it end)

I remember as a kid/teen I was a HUGE fan of Night Court. I must have seen every episode two or 3 times EXCLUDING the final season.
I saw parts of the final season but for some reason(some club or sport or something) I never got to see the final episodes. And I never caught it on syndication either.
Does anyone here know how they wrapped it up? Or if they even did?

From eonline.com:
The End (but Not Quite...)
As the 1990-91 season dawned, Night Court denizens became convinced that the show's eighth season would be its last. Accordingly, the writers mapped out an endgame strategy for a series finale: Judge Harry and Christine marry; D.A. Dan becomes homeless. Then, just as these storylines neared their climax, NBC asked the show to return for one...more...year. The cast agreed (encouraged by "jumbo buckets of cash," in the words of Markie Post), and the writers scrambled. Instead of the originally planned "they all lived happily ever after except for Fielding" ending, the eighth season closed out with a Phantom of the Opera-inspired fantasy, featuring DA Dan as the Phantom and Christine as the muse he kidnaps. As Anderson tells TV Tales, "We kind of ran out of ideas at the end." Officially, the end came in May 1992, when the absolutely, positively last new episode aired.
From jumpedtheshark.com:
I'd say the show didn't really jump until the final episode, which was incredibly lame and nearly devoid of humor. Harry "seriously considers" teaching law school, Christine decides to practice law in New Orleans(wha?) Dan decides to follow her (Huh?) Harry decides not to take the job(whatever), and Bull is beamed up by two Statler and Waldorf wannabes. Too bad they couldn't come up with anything worth watching. Possibly the worst series finale ever.

Wedge, I had already read the TVTome but it didn't really rap anything up.
Thanks, BryanMC. That sorta stinks but I guess I wasn't missing much.

I know I watched the series until the end but I could not rember it, I think it was so bad I "burned" it out of my brain :)
