Road Rules 6/30 (SPOILERS!)

I really can't stand Donell or Cara anymore. They are the most horrible 21-ish year old people that I have ever seen.

I think that Donell deserved to get punched by Abe because Donell kept "pushing his buttons"... which he admittedly likes to do. Yes, Abe was wrong to hit him, but I still think that Donell deserved it.

And it was really funny to hear Donell making the comment criticizing people who hit other people since thesmokinggun published that police report about him hitting his girlfriend.

I think that Abe will get sent home, but I really think that Donell should get sent home too... since he instigated the whole thing.

I really felt bad for Abe when he was telling his side. Yes, his opinions are not PC... but both Donell and Cara (and even Marybeth) have laid into him so bad through this trip, that I'd have cracked by now too.

VERY entertaining episode! :)

I too think Abe is headed back home, just too knock-down drag-out of a fight not to be. I doubt if D is going to be kicked off though. I loved Cara's "family" comment... she has no clue. I also loved the way that Abe said "especially you!" (meaning Cara) when he was explaining how he felt picked on.

D and to a lesser extent so far Cara, are turning into classic RR bad boy characters. The one black girl has really gotten my respect. She is so level headed and just plain nice. Whatever she decides is OK by me.

Eh, I'm sure that Donnell will be the first to go when they have to get rid of somebody for not winning enough challenges.

Part of me just wants to lock both of them in a closet and let them at each other. Either they'll make up or tear each other to shreds. But if they're in a closet, at least nobody else will have to deal with the pettiness.

I hope they show them the entire video, not just the actual fight. Maybe they'll see what a jerk Donell was. Cara is a real jerk too, but I think that Mary Beth is not as bad as the two of them.

I think Donnell is more culpable in the situation than Abe is. Anyone who has watched more than one episode could tell how Abe would react when his 'buttons were pushed'. Donnell did it on purpose and continued well passed what I thought were a few 'reasonable requests' (which took Abe what looked like considerable self management) by Abe to stop. Donnell needs to see that what he got was entirely his actions coming back to haunt him. Until he does that, he's going to continue to get himself into trouble.

It takes two to tango, and Abe threw the first (and most ;) ) punch(s). While I think Abe did show great restraint, in the end he couldn't restrain himself. It just kept escalating and escalating and escalating. Sometimes you just have to give up on a person. In hind-sight it would have been so "easy" for him to walk away, stay away and just carry the grudge. hmmmm, maybe not.

I just watched this episode, and Donell deserved what he got. He pushed and pushed and pushed. Even when Abe left (after the cornbread joke), you could hear Donell yelling at abe through the door. That's pushing because you want a reaction. He finally got the reaction he was looking for, and then b*tched about it. It's good that Abe got his shot in at Cara as well, she strikes me as the stereotypical sorority girl, holier-than-thou and b*tchy about everything. I hope Abe stays, but I don't see it happening. All it takes is one person to say they don't feel safe, and he's gone. You know Cara will never allow him to stay, and neither will Donell. I too hope the producer lets them watch the whole video, and not just the fight.

Ebenezer's first post pretty much summed up my opinion. It's good to know other people feel that way. If you keep kicking a growling animal, should you be surprised when it bites? I have absolutely no sympathy for Donell. Of course Abram was wrong for getting physical. But it's total BS for Donell to pretend that he couldn't see that coming a mile away.

I can't stand Donell or Cara. They are the worst. Burn in reality hell, you buttheads.

I agree with all the comments here. It seems like Abram will be gone but it just surprises me that Donnell kept egging him on even though he knew it was just making Abram angrier.

Good episode. I remember various fights on past shows and this was the first one I recall where there was clear punching in the face! Excellent. Abram clocked that guy! Donell is a very self righteous punk who believes he's operating on the side of good and shoots his mouth off because he thinks he's got everyone on his side. I didn't even see how "cornbread" could be construed as a racial remark. Mabye I've missed too many episodes but I don't see what everybody's problem is with Abram. He says stupid ****, but it takes all kinds. And the guy is a great asset to the team. Can't you just ignore his ignorance and not socialize with the guy but yet accept him as part of the team? I think B&M need to drop the hard line "you hit and you're kicked off" rule. There are shades of grey in these instances and besides it makes great TV. I, for the record, don't think he gets kicked off because you see him completing the stripper challenge and even embracing Donell.

That's probably a rule for legal reasons. BM is agreeing to put you in a safe environement (as safe as you can be jumping off buildings), and any physical fights are a violation of that.

Was it just me, or did the guys get totally screwed on this challenge? The girls had to go make a flyer, while the guys have to take dance class, and then then strip in front of gay men? I hope on the next challenge, the guys get a nice easy assignment, and the girls have to do all the work.

I believe it is in reference to the over generalization and stereotype that certain foods are favorites of the African American race.

I watched the episode again, and I swear didn't see Abe in the dance contest. And there was a quick preview for next week that showed what looked like Abe packing for home, but you know how they edit those things, could have all been taken out of context.
